The world has far too few real discoveries and Poruma Island is one of these.  Located in the Torres Strait north of Cape York and occupied by around 180 wonderful Torres Strait Islanders makes this location something totally unique.

FlyfishDownunder is currently testing the waters and will hopefully soon be able to offer a very special saltwater flyfishing option with a few surprizes.

So watch this space .......  there's a certain target species we have firmly in our sights and it doesn't appear here yet
