When you look for a fishing experience its important to know who you are dealing with and we pride ourselves in our personal approach.
So we thought that a short word on who we are might make it that much easier when you contact us.
Firstly we wish to make it clear that we are passionate flyfishers and our business often sees us fishing many different locations with some very interesting people. We consider this to be a huge privilege and we go to great lengths to ensure that the whole experience is something you'll remember for a long time to come.
But sometimes we simply can't be there due to the length or duration of the trip and in these cases we ensure that we have a guide who is not only professionally qualified but also able to delight our clients. A specialty in flyfishing is also a prerequisite. Its vitally important to us that you are well looked after and we see this as a responsibility that you impart to us by asking that we organize your trip.
So all in all we hope that you see us as your source of good information, a booking agency that you can rely upon and most importantly as your new Aussie friends. That is what we see as the most important thing.
So some introductions:
Lou Hatton
Thats me, I get to ensure the web site is up to speed, liaise with our professional guides along with a lot more that I get involved in. My background is the Australian Army and I was privileged to be located in some of Australia's prime flyfishing regions such as the Northern Territory and Tasmania. During my four years in Darwin I fell in love with the Barramundi and to this day consider myself to be a specialist in targeting Barra on fly.
I live with my wife Sue at Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast which is an hours drive north of Brisbane. For those of you who have heard of the late Steve Irwin well his Australia Zoo is about 20 minutes away at Beerwah. The Sunshine Coast has some fabulous flyfishing and early in the year turns on some of the hottest Tuna fishing able to be experienced worldwide, and just off the tourist beaches.
